Meet Elizabeth

I’m Elizabeth Modene, the owner of Modene Pet Services and an Appleton pet parent. Caring for others has been an important part of my work since 2012, when I began as a full-time nanny. In 2015, I transitioned into professional animal care while working in a veterinary care and dog daycare setting. There, I gained hands-on experience caring for many different types of pets and learning to recognize their individual needs.

Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs, cats, horses, sheep, goats, miniature farm animals, birds, rabbits, reptiles, guinea pigs, and rats. Each animal has taught me something different about patience, communication, and the importance of paying attention to the details that make them feel comfortable.

I’m also trained to assist with insulin injections and understand the importance of following medication instructions carefully. This includes keeping medications properly refrigerated when needed, administering them on schedule, and providing consistent care for pets with ongoing medical needs.

As the owner of Modene Pet Services, I’m personally involved in providing thoughtful, dependable care to every pet and family I serve. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, notice the little details, and build trust at their own pace. Whether your pet greets me with excitement or needs a little more time to feel comfortable, I let their personality guide our relationship.

I take the time to learn your pet’s routines, favorite activities, and the familiar comforts that help them feel at ease. Whether they need a leisurely walk, playful company, medication support, or a little extra patience, I provide warm and attentive care during every visit.

Through daily walks, personalized pet sitting, holiday and vacation care, and pet transportation, I help families throughout Appleton and the surrounding Fox Cities care for their pets when they’re away.
